#AddDreamsToCart - A campaign of Unilever and Lazada is very close to my heart. #Shop2Give8/19/2019 I'm a believer of any quotes that are about dreams and future. I'm actually not just a blogger and events host but I also love making a difference... I'm part of an organization where we help the community or the less fortunate kids to study, or to have what they really deserved but enough talking about what I do - I'm just sharing with you all why this campaign of Unilever and Lazada is very close to my heart... Here why it is... In the latest development that has taken the online world by storm, your favorite brands’ logos and names were replaced with hand-drawn art and children’s names overnight. From Closeup to Chloe, Dove to Dianne and Axe to Axel, to name a few, the country’s most loved brands just had a complete make-over online for a good cause. With over 2.8 million Filipino children currently out-of-school translating to over 2.8 million dreams on hold, Unilever Philippines and Lazada have come together once again to support UNICEF's Quality Education program by creating Shop2Give Year 2, #AddDreamsToCart. This collaborative effort elevates the online shopping experience by giving shoppers the chance to help send out-of-school children in the Philippines back to school. Given the success of last year’s Shop2Give campaign, which has expanded across multiple Southeast Asian countries, Unilever and Lazada once again aim to invite millions of Filipinos to extend a helping hand with as simple as a click of a button. As you shop for your favorite Unilever products during this Super Brand Day on the Lazada platform, part of th proceeds from the sale will be donated to UNICEF. And although the online shopping event will be held on August 20 with an accompanying Facebook Live event, you can begin filling your cart with your Unilever staples as early as August 16. For 24 whole hours, Unilever will also give Lazada a fun and adorable makeover, transforming the interface of this online shopping giant into what looks like a kid's art gallery. All participating Unilever product photos will be replaced by hand-drawn renditions of the product while product names will be changed to children’s names. As an added treat, shoppers can cop the following deals:
-Up to 80% off on Unilever products with a collectible voucher -A free Shop2Give tote bag for the first 1,000 shoppers -All day flash sale of up to 70% off -All day free shipping with a minimum purchase of Php 300.00 -Lazada vouchers with up to 30% discount beginning August 17 With your help and your generosity, this program could benefit over 800,000 children over the course of several years by taking them a step closer to their dreams. #ShopToGive and #AddDreamstoCart by joining Unilever, Lazada, and UNICEF on August 20th.

Approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day. – Michael Josephson First of all, I want to greet you a Happy New Year! One of my most favorite part in a year is not just my birthday and Christmas day but of course the start of the year – New Year where traditionally my relatives will visit us and celebrate with our whole family. Also, one thing I loved the most is that there’s a lot of opportunities ahead for this year. You can plan and set your goals for the entire year. In line with opportunities – this is our big chance to go on shopping with big discounts that will help us save a lot of money. So that we can be prepared for the upcoming months or the whole year or just simply we can showcase our “New Year, New You” look with the help of these discounted products.
Dreams do really come true if you believe and have the guts to make it happen! Hi, I’m Nilo Sabillo, As soon as I’m writing this blog of my dreams it is mainly because I am having a hard time to go back to sleep. It feels like someone whispering at the back of my head saying: "Stand up! You have great things to do! Be productive!" But also at the back of my head— "Don’t stand up! It’s Saturday, 7:43 in the morning and you slept around 2am." And, this is not a normal thing for me since I always wake up late. But let’s not talk about my sleep— let’s talk about my dream... This is actually my dream— to be a blogger. I will share stories about my self (I hope you will also find it interesting)— it's all about my realizations or experiences in life; what I believe is right or wrong; my adventures, travels and wanderlust moments. If you know me already before this blog begins (maybe because you are one of my elementary, high school, college friends, or my neighbour, a colleague, a relative, or a Rotaract friend? or you might know me on social media— Instagram as ohmynilo or you are a friend of mine on Facebook?) And if that’s the case— you already know that @ohmynilo has been posting about his life experiences (his dream) almost everyday on social medias. BUT if you are really a close friend of mine you know that I should start blogging ever since and it never happens because I‘m considering 3 things: Time, Things and Thoughts.
I have blogger friends and they told me that there’s a lot of things to consider in Blogging industry but I realised that these are the 3 basic things that I need to consider first before I can do a blog. And, these necessary and unnecessary things helped me decide if I should go and live one of my dreams. After all, this Blog is all about yourself. Maybe others Blogs talk about other people or other things but still it’s all about you— because you are the one responsible in writing this story. You are the one who will do all of this. Because, you are the one responsible for your own dream. For me, this is a perfect reason why I’m having a hard time to go back to sleep— I need to wake up already, write this and live my dream.— Right now, I am living one of them and it’s really a dream come true! Thank you for reading these and I hope to see you on the next blog! Comment below and share me your thoughts about your dream or about this blog. Anything and I will be glad to read it one by one. Lastly, never forget— dreams do really come true if you believe and have the guts to make it happen! Sincerely, Nilo Sabillo -- @ohmynilo |
